Common questions

Booking a recruitment ad — answered

Classified text is charged per word/line; classified display (with logo/box) is charged per sq.cm. Most ads land in the ₹700–₹5,000 band; smaller regional papers start lower, premium papers (TOI, ABP) run higher. Sunday — the highest-response day — carries a premium. Rates are per insertion (per day), plus 5% GST. Use the rate finder for an instant figure at a lowest-price guarantee.
Most papers have a same-day or next-morning cut-off; book by the cut-off and it runs the next day. Sunday is the prime recruitment day and books out early. Pick your date in the finder and we confirm the exact cut-off before you pay.
Yes — free. Send the role details in any language or even as a photo. We write the classified, trim it to the paper's word limit, translate it (Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Hindi and more) and design it with your logo. You see a proof before it prints.
A classified runs only in the editions you choose — each covers specific districts, and "all-state" is a combo of editions at a higher price. Pick your city/district editions or a full-state combo; we confirm coverage before you pay.
Plain wording is classified text (cheapest, per word). Add a logo, box, colour or photo and it becomes classified display or display, charged per sq.cm. A company logo forces display. We'll show how each looks and what it costs before you choose.
Tell us the role, city and budget and we recommend the best-read recruitment paper for it — e.g. Gujarat Samachar in Gujarat, Daily Thanthi in Tamil Nadu, Lokmat in Maharashtra, Eenadu in the Telugu states. We advise honestly by role and region.
Recruitment ads must carry your company letterhead with stamp & signature — we request it after you compose. A GST invoice is provided. Overseas recruitment ads additionally need Indian Embassy clearance; we'll flag this upfront so there are no surprises after payment.
releaseMyAd is the authorised online booking platform for these newspapers, booking ads since 2008 — 14M+ ads for 3,25,000+ advertisers, 4.7★ on Trustpilot. Pay by UPI/QR, card, net-banking or NEFT/RTGS via a secure link. Full refund if the ad never runs.
After it runs you can view your ad in the newspaper's e-paper (with date & edition) or we send a screenshot of the published ad. You also get live status tracking from booking to publication.

Recruitment advertising

Recruitment advertising,
how it works.

How to place a situation-vacant classified in India's newspapers — what it costs, which paper and supplement reach the right candidates, and how releaseMyAd drafts, formats and books it for you.

A newspaper recruitment ad still reaches serious, local job-seekers — including the passive candidates who never scroll job portals. A few lines in the right Sunday appointments supplement, in the language your applicants read, fills roles that online listings quietly miss.

Booking used to mean a phone call and guessing the rate. Now you pick the paper, edition and date, see the exact price at a lowest-price guarantee, and we set the ad in the paper's format — free. The GST invoice is emailed; after it runs you can view your ad in the e-paper or buy a local copy.

For a driver, cook, teacher or factory hire, the regional daily still out-pulls a job portal — the right paper reaches the people actually looking.
